I’m Lori Rohs, proud owner of Lori Rohs Designs, custom window treatments in Milton Georgia.

Today, I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

The most enjoyable part of my work is meeting new clients. I love to get feedback that they are pleased with the quality of my products and appreciate my outstanding customer service.

My professional background is in accounting. I created this company because I wanted to do something outside of-the-box. I have been in business for fifteen years selling and installing commercial and residential window treatments.

I grew up in Kernersville, North Carolina and went to college at UNC-Chapel Hill.

I take care of my customer needs ranging from measuring, quoting, and finally installing the product. As the business owner, I handle most of the business responsibilities. My day usually starts with reading and responding to emails and phone messages. I work an average of five or six hours per day. Once I’ve handled all my customer’s concerns, I try to get in a little exercise with yoga or tennis.

The most important decisions I make daily are ones which ensure that my clients are satisfied with the quality and price of my products. I am constantly considering their requirements and any limitations they may have, as I advise them on which products or services would be best for them. To perform my job well, I rely on three important skills. I use my ability to recognize my client's needs, my accounting background for the business side and my organizational skills.

I attribute my business success to my wonderful returning customers. I strive to provide high quality products and outstanding customer service. In many cases, this brings me referrals and my clients return when they have another window project to tackle. My most satisfying moment in business is when I secured my first large commercial job.

One of the greatest influences on my leadership style and professional development has been my grandmother. She was a strong-willed, hard-working and most importantly, very loving woman. She instilled these values in me which I try to bring to my personal and professional lives every day.

I admire the senior assisted-living companies because they are addressing a growing need in our society and are really helping our elderly.

Away from work, I enjoy being physically active. My favourite pastimes are tennis and yoga!

The most satisfying moments in my personal life have been when my children have found success.

My personal values are honesty, being trustworthy and treating everyone as I would like to be treated.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
